Guild Rules & General Information
General Information
The Protectorate was founded on September 17, 2008. http://realmwar.warhammeronline.com/realmwar/GuildInfo.war?id=50&server=180 We are one of the first guilds established on the Monolith server. Most of us are veteran MMO gamers who the majority have come from WoW or FFXI. We house some very skillful and very friendly players.
Our guild focuses mostly on RvR Scenarios, Objective/Keep raids, Public Quests and instanced Dungeons. As of right now our scheduled events take place every Wednesday and Saturday starting sometime between 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST and end between 9:30 PM - 10:00 PM EST. This maybe subject to change in the near future. This doesn't mean we aren't active during the week
I would also like to add that we are a more casual guild. We care more about the personality of the person than the hours you put in each week. Most of us are veterans of end game groups from previous games and are ready to take a back seat to the "hardcore" mind-set but still have a great time.
Guild Rules
Guild tithes are optional between the members. The funds gathered from the tithes are used to purchase siege weapons and standards.
As of right now, The Protectorate contains no points system for lotting items that drop from mobs. The system we have in place is working out for our members and will remain as so. When an item drops that your career can use or one you can use for crafting you may select need for the item in the loot pool. If there is a large gap between your rank and the piece of gear that has dropped, being 5 ranks or more, you may be asked to pass the item for another member of the same career that can use that item immediately.
As a member of The Protectorate we ask that you not only be respectful and mindful of fellow members but for other players outside the guild as well. An example of this would be not selecting need from the loot pool for an item that drops in a RvR scenario if you are currently on a career that can't use it.
Unless any of the leadership is notified, a month of inactivity will result in you being removed from the guild.
Time limits are going to become more strict with scheduled events. This will make it so members who are ready to go on time are not held up by a few individuals thus starting runs late. If you are not there by the cut-off you will be unable to attend the run. If you know you are going to be late, contact any of your leadership or a fellow member and let us know We can work something out if needed to accommodate your schedule as long as it is within reason.
If you would like to participate or lead an event that is on one of our off days, let any of the leadership know. We will be more than happy to add the event on the Guild's Calendar for you.
Leadership
Rhyas and Solomon are the Guild Leaders of The Protectorate. If there are any issues or concerns that you wish to express about the guild, please contact either of them. Frey is the guild's Captain. He serves as not only the main moderator for our web forum but as a close adviser to both Rhyas and Solomon and is to be respected as a lead in their absence.
Standard Bearers proudly display our guild's might. These members have been carefully selected for their great helpfulness and skill to The Protectorate's members. The Standard Bearer's job is to hold onto the guild's standards. Standard Bearers have limited leadership and administrative privileges. If a standard is captured or lost it will be replaced by the guild's funds.
Guild Alliance
As of October 18, 2008, Sanctus Ordinis was formed. We are most proud to be joined with two very skillful and friendly guilds, ODD (Order of the Dusty Dagger) and FHS (Fortune Hunters Society). I ask that you treat them with the same respect and courtesy that you would have for a fellow guild member. Although our alliance is active, the guild leaders as well as myself have come to a conclusion that for right now we will focus on getting to T4 before organizing large scale events such as keep raids. This does not mean that we can not do events with each other right now Again, we welcome this great union of three fine guilds as we work our way to carving out our history on the pages of Monolith!
