ANYONE WHO WANTS TALISMANS!

Once 1.1 goes live, apparently us Talisman makers will no longer be able to crank out +16 5 day talismans on command. Mythic, in their infinite spite, has decided to make us work overly hard for our talismans, and is changing (currently) purchaseable set pieces to be unsalvageable.

So, if you want a high-level talisman for 12 gold (they'll most likely go up, a LOT), now is the time.

Yeah i am spending a huge load of money on this profession just to read this today. Pretty disapointed myself. I think i will gather some money to get some talismans with you guys instead.

As if it wasnt enough of a money drain already...

So, we just send Solomon money on the mail or do we have to seek out some other stuff like curios or such?

12 gold each, if you have some higher-level curios/gold cores you don't mind parting with, I'll take those too, lol. Selen/Salus/Crainte supplied me with quite a few, but I am going to start running a bit low if we're looking to exploit my 200 Talisman/Salvaging.

But basically just the gold and which talismans you want.

So what talismans can you make if we send you items to be broken down? Like if I send you a high-ranking blue item, what would that make?

And am I correct in understanding that orange items like annihilator boots can't be broken down any more?

Yes you're correct.

The RvR gear you receive from PQs and Dead players can be salvaged, but the ones from the vendors cannot.

A rank 40 blue gear will make a highest level blue talisman (5d) if I'm not mistaken.

Gold > Blue or occasionally Purple
Purple > Blue (5 day)
Blue > Green (2 day)
Green > White (8 hr)

That's the progression for all fragments these days, from what I'm told at least. I still have a spare pair of annihilator feet I'm going to salvage eventually, and I'll know confirm that when I have the chance.

Whoops, that's right.

A blue will only pop a blue with a green gold essence. You get lucky every now and then if you're using purple curios for synths.
